Dr. Sunita Katari

Dr. Katari is a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility specialist who has been serving patients in the Pittsburgh area for over 10 years. Through Radiance Fertility, she hopes to break down barriers to fertility care by making herself accessible to her patients to provide personalized care and offering affordable treatment options. Her goal is to empower patients to make fertility decisions and foster an inclusive care space for patients of all backgrounds. 

Dr. Katari graduated from Rangaraya Medical College in India with awards in physiology & preventative medicine. She went on to do 3 years of specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynecology in the United Kingdom, earning membership to the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. She then completed residency training at Temple University in Philadelphia, and is a recipient of the Berlex Best Teaching Resident Award. Dr. Katari moved to Pittsburgh to pursue her passion for Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI), completing her fellowship at UPMC-Magee Womens Hospital.

Dr. Katari has extensive research experience, both as a post-doctoral fellow & REI fellow. She has led NIH-funded projects studying epigenetic changes in children conceived with assisted reproductive technology as well as genetics of primary ovarian insufficiency. Find her published work here! 

Through fellowship & her time as faculty at UPMC, Dr. Katari has successfully managed over 1000 in-vitro fertilization cycles and looks forward to continuing to help her patients achieve their fertility goals at Radiance Fertility.

Sunita is a dedicated mom to her 8-year old son. Her husband is also a practicing physician, and has been her biggest support in building Radiance Fertility. Sunita and her husband love to host (and feed) friends and family in their free time. Since her time living in London for residency, Sunita has loved to travel. She equally loves coming back to Pittsburgh, which has been her family’s home for 14 years.
